Shanghai Beiling Co., LTD., formerly known as Shanghai Beiling Microelectronics Manufacturing Co., LTD., was established in 1988 as a joint venture between Shanghai Instrument Bureau and Shanghai Bell Co., LTD. It is the first Sino-foreign joint venture in the domestic integrated circuit industry and a landmark enterprise that successfully attracted foreign investment and introduced foreign advanced technology in the early stage of national reform and opening up. In September 1998, the company was restructured and listed, and it was the first listed company in the domestic integrated circuit industry. In 1999, Huahong Group became the controlling shareholder of the company. In 2009, China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., LTD. (CEC) became the controlling shareholder of the company. In July 2015, BDA Semiconductor became the controlling shareholder of Shanghai Beiling, and the actual controller of the company is still CEC.
Located in Caohejing Emerging Technology Development Zone, Shanghai Beiling has been a state-level enterprise technology center since 1999. The company focuses on integrated circuit chip design and product application development, and is one of the main suppliers of integrated circuit products in China. The company's integrated circuit product business is distributed in the power chain (power management, power devices, motor drive business) and signal chain (data converter, power special chip, Internet of Things front-end, non-volatile memory, standard signal product business). The main target markets are automotive electronics, industrial control, photovoltaic, energy storage, energy efficiency monitoring, power equipment, optical communications, home appliances, short-distance vehicles, high-end and portable medical equipment, and other consumer applications such as mobile phone camera modules. The company has established R & D and sales teams in Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Xi 'an, and has a strong FAE team support capability to help customers quickly complete product design import.
